We are considering reducing, at least experimentally, the prerequisites for core courses such as Refactoring.
Special topics courses (SSE 591, 592, 593, 691, 692, and 693) allow use to more agility in tracking the evolving state of software engineering practice in industry. We have added new courses in the following topics:

- Database Applications in Software Engineering
- Multi-Core Software Development
